This final stage of the IF prototyping process involves writing out your story and weaving all the pieces together into an interactive world. You will quickly notice that what might seem like a small world with only a few rooms actually requires more writing than originally anticipated! If you really think about it, not only are you responsible for describing the environment around the player, but you also might have to write branching narratives, interactions with other characters, and responses to player inputs. While this might appear daunting, it doesn't have to be.

Right now, you are aiming for a minimum viable product, meaning the game provides just enough features to provide a playable experience. If you do decide to go "all out," then feel free! Just don't beat yourself up if some of the functionality of this initial project isn't exactly what you had imagined. You may always refine it later.
